Wrapt
Wrapt is a Leeds based retrofit company on a mission to simplify the process of making homes warm, healthy, and comfortable. We are a multi skilled team of architects, joiners, and project managers, combining building physics expertise with practical design and end to end delivery. We work across all property types, with particular expertise in natural and low carbon materials where appropriate. Wrapt partners with housing providers, homeowners, and local authorities to improve homes through a clear, coordinated, end to end retrofit service.
The innovation: The Breatheasy Wall system
The Breatheasy Wall system is Wrapt’s breakthrough insulation solution for solid walled homes, delivering 3 to 4 times less heat loss with minimal disruption. Developed in collaboration with AMRC and supported by SYMCA, the system has already been piloted in multiple homes. Using low carbon, natural materials and breathable construction, it is designed to reduce damp and mould risk while dramatically improving comfort. Pre-fabricated elements enable installation in a single day, helping avoid the need for decanting in many cases and making high performance retrofit faster, safer, and scalable.
